In short
SITUATION
A family business selling olives to homes and restaurant kitchens alike. Years of code piled onto an off-the-shelf theme had slowed the store down, most of all on phones.
APPROACH
Instead of starting over, I cleaned up. I used the theme’s built-in parts, wrote what was needed from scratch and deleted the rest.
RESULT
A store that loads faster, is easy to browse on a phone and shows what happened when you add to cart. Plus 48 products on Hepsiburada.
What I did (06)
- 01Home page openerVideo and campaign slider in one section. The video loads after the page opens, so the first view never waits.
- 02Collection cardsThe agency’s 4:5 images stayed as they were; the headline baked into the image moved into real text, so Google can read it now.
- 03Product cardA card written twice, in two versions and two places, became one file. Discount percentages are calculated correctly now.
- 04Cart drawerAdd to cart and a drawer opens: how much is left for free shipping, plus “goes well with” suggestions.
- 05Wholesale formA separate application form for restaurants and hotels. Wholesale buyers no longer get lost in the retail cart.
- 06Hepsiburada48 products on the marketplace in one go, via a 143-column category template.
Mobile first, then speed,
then sales. Decoration last.
On the phone
Most visitors come from a phone. I made every decision on a 390-pixel screen first.

BRAND COLOURS
Every section takes its colours from the theme’s colour scheme; no one-off colour tweaks.
